The weather was touch and go in Brisbane, so we spent a bit of time exploring the museums. My first stop was the GOMA, or Gallery of Modern Arts, which is conveniently located in the Southbank area next to the State Library, a Science Museum and the Queensland Art Gallery.

Scenes from the Canterbury Museum

I'm digging the graphic design of the displays in the Science and Antarctic Exploration areas of the Canterbury Museum in Christchurch. They reminded me of something out of a Wes Anderson movie. If I knew who made them, I would tell them good job, but I think I'm just gonna to have to be secretly in love with these displays and leave it at that.

From Pahi to Whangerei

Pahi was beautiful most days, although very rainy a few. We made steady progress on Elaine & Grant's house, and had a lot of funny conversations between the six of us.
